Hoyer Professional Slings are designed to be used exclusively with Hoyer Lifts. Hoyer Professional Slings are designed to work with the 6 point spreader bar. Choosing the right sling for the task promotes both caregiver and patient safety.
Hoyer Lift Slings are specially designed and constructed piece of fabric, which is placed under and around a patient before being attached to the spreader bar or cradle of a lift to raise, transfer, and lower the patient. When selected and used correctly, a sling and lift will achieve a safer transfer, reducing the risks associated with manual handling.
In order to be sure the Professional Sling selected is what you need, first determine the type of transfer task(s) desired, together with the frequency with which they will occur. For instance, a sling that is to be used for toileting will require a commode opening. An assessment to decide which sling best suits the patient's needs should be made by a qualified professional healthcare provider.

This sling works well for people who are completely dependent upon the caregiver for the use of this sling and anyone else who needs assistance from the floor.Quick Fit Deluxe 6 Point Sling
This sling is good for Toilet, Chair to Chair, and Bed to Chair, The Mesh version is good for Commode to bath. The Quick fit sling is suitable for 95% of patients. It can be used for amputees following assessment, and is available in all sizes from XS to XL. This sling works well for people who are completely dependent upon the caregiver for the use of this sling and anyone else who needs assistance from the floor.Access 4 Point Sling (Toliet Sling)
This sling is good for Toilet, Chair to Chair, and Chair to Commode. This sling is designed specifically to facilitate the toileting procedure by allowing the removal of clothing. It is NOT a general-purpose sling and will suit only 25% of patients. patients must be in a sitting position to use this sling. This sling is good for Toilet, Chair to Chair, Bed to Chair, and Floor to Bed. This is a more specialized sling. It incorporates integral boned head support, padded leg pieces, and is available in all sizes from XS to XL. The correct size will fit snugly and give full protection for patients who go into extension, or have involuntary movements or behavioral problems. This sling works well for people who are completely dependent upon the caregiver for the use of this sling and anyone else who needs assistance from the floor.

Hoyer Sling Care Instructions
- Maximum wash temp: 185°F (85°C), non-enzyme detergent.
- Wash 160°F (71°C) for 3 minutes.
- Wash 145°F (63°C) for 10 minutes.
- Do not tumble dry at high temp–Air dry, cool tumble dry or dry at very low temperature
